Out of Focus (OoF) is a queer family archive.

We are establishing queer genealogies and amassing a collection of home movies, photographs, filmed interviews and oral histories. Our goal is to make art inspired by queer visual culture and build connections.

We seek and share footage of couples, nuclear families, and chosen family. Who became your family of choice and how? Where have you found your art home, your political home, and the social spaces that make you feel most affirmed and free?

The creative work that the OoF archive catalyzes puts queer families in focus and at the forefront of the frame.
